Cardiac Telemetry Monitored Rehabilitation Program

Upon admission each patient/resident undergoes a thorough medical history and physical exam as well as an ECG and pertinent cardiovascular exam. Based on the assessment results, the patient is initiated into our Telemetry Monitoring Rehabilitation Program. During a patient’s therapy program, our Director of Cardiac Rehabilitation oversees the program and conducts weekly team rounds, while continuous telemetry monitoring is administered under direct supervision of an Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certified RN monitoring heart rate, cardiac rhythms, and pertinent cardiovascular exams. We use sophisticated, state of the art hospital grade telemetry equipment, and, if in the event of an emergency situation, we implement a STAT procedure. Our response time is immediate, and we are fully equipped with resuscitation carts, including defibrillators and life-saving medications.
